Harassment, threats, or doxxing
Attempts to exploit or harm other users

These violations will be reported to law enforcement.

Can I appeal a ban?

Appeals are only accepted for temporary bans and first/second offenses. Permanent bans for zero-tolerance violations (CSAE, violence, harassment) cannot be appealed. Contact support with your case details.

What if someone is breaking rules but I don't want to report them?

You can simply click "Next" to skip them and move on. However, we strongly encourage reporting violations to protect other users and maintain community safety.

Are these rules enforced by AI or humans?

Both. Our AI moderation flags violations in real-time, and human moderators review reports and handle complex cases 24/7.

Do these rules apply to private conversations too?

Yes. All MoonlightChat features, including any future private messaging, are subject to these rules. There are no "safe zones" for rule violations.
